About the Authors:
Jaime Gault, a native of New Hampshire, currently lives in Portland, OR with her husband Christian and their two sons, Jack and Samuel. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, she was diagnosed with SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythamatosus) in 2008. She is currently a stay at home mom but hopes to return to working on her Master in Social Work at Portland State University and becoming more involved with Molly's Fund Fighting Lupus and the lupus community.

After having run her own graphic design company for 11 years, it was a very difficult transition for Nicole Lawry to end her career, and focus on regaining her health, lost to Lupus Nephritis. The last few years she's been very blessed with an amazing support system of family and friends who have gathered around her to help her reach remission, as well as spread awareness about this difficult and painful disease. She is a very proud Momma to Madison, and wife to her best friend, Jon. Together she and Jon serve on the Board of Molly's Fund Fighting Lupus where they are passionate about spreading awareness and raising funds to find a cure for Lupus. In their free-time, they love to go fishing, hiking, caming and bike riding.
